Cricket Phoenix Review:

Arizona is one of the best areas for Cricket service.  They have both Mobile and broadband service available all around the greater Phoenix area.  Without a doubt Cricket Wireless has Phoenix covered with quality mobile phone service!  For our test we used a Samsung Messager II mobile cell phone and tested service in several areas within Phoenix, Mesa, and Scottsdale.  Throughout Phoenix the coverage was excellent, we did not experience a single dropped call.  Same goes for Mesa we were able to check our Gmail and receive / make approximately 10 phone calls through various locations without any issues.  Scottsdale was a hit or miss with service being mostly okay towards the highway.  At some points our phone switched to roaming which was okay because we have the nationwide extended coverage program.  We spoke with several fellow Cricket owners that we found on Craigslist.  They had nothing but good things to say about the service coverage.  Their main complaint was with the customer service.  We know this is an issue Cricket Wireless has continually struggled with (like many other wireless providers)  I can verify that Cricket appears to be making LEAPS and bounds towards better customer service.   It is much better than it was, say a year ago.  One Craigslist reviewer suggested that he had a very cheap handset and sometimes expierenced unreliable battery life.  This goes to show you that with Cricket you should invest in better hardware.  You are saving so much on the unlimited service you might as well splurge and get a great handset. We can really recommend the samsung Messager II as it worked out just fine in Phoenix.

The bottom line is that if you live in Phoenix, AZ and are sick of the other “big” wireless providers than you should certainly give Cricket Wireless a try.  Buy Cricket Wireless online and get your first month of service free.
