Summary:

Cricket CAPTR for Cricket Wireless is your basic entry-level clam shell cell phone with a few twists.  First of all, it looks sleeker than your average flip phone.  For being average it works exceptionally well sending/receiving calls & texts is reliable and clear which is a lot to say for some entry level mobile phones these days.  It has a few unexpected bonuses including Bluetooth and a front facing VGA Camera.  The front facing cam is virtually useless because it’s VGA however, it might make for the occasional fun picture msg to your friend.  Just don’t expect them to be able to make out exactly what it is you are sending them.  Bluetooth, on the other hand comes in handy  especially if you have a bluetooth enabled car.  This pairs excellently and will make driving and talking that much easier.  If you send a lot of text messages this phone probably isn’t for you.  Text input is a letter at a time or the ever reliable old-school T9 predictive text based input.  If you are on a budget and you need a simple and reliable phone that can take a beating then Cricket CAPTR will work just fine.  If you have a few extra bucks to spare do yourself a favor and upgrade to something more modern.
