Spy Pics: The New Motorola PAGR - It's the Wave of the Future.

By: Rodney Harris - March 3rd, 2007

Some might call it the great grand pappy of the RAZR. Others, a distant cousin to the KRZR. Me, I call it the PAGR. But, motorola choose to call this the confidant (how boring, guess they didn't have genius marketing specialists back then). Well, according to the New York Times - this quarter inch thick "credit-card" style pager was set to revolutionize the telecommunications market.moto PAGR

Sad to say this moto PAGR costed me just as much or more than a RAZR at $250USD out the door. Not to mention the $25/month I paid for my pocket to vibrate with the joyous reminder to call my boss. Hopefully that makes you a little happier to pay for your current feature rich mobile provider. Curious to see it battle some new tech?

PAGR vs Blackjack think thin

From 143 pages to 143 pages of e-mail.

Although this bad boy fits nicely in your pocket, Motorola warned you "not to put in back pocket". When the RAZR came out it revolutionized the market with such stylish design as "laser cut buttons". But, all motorola needed to do was look a little in it's past to see and understand that thinner is better.

This PAGR never really made it big like its younger sibiling the RAZR perhaps, due to the overwhelming price tag or its lack-luster features. But, one thing is for sure mobile technology is advancing at an awesome rate.
